Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting

Stanford is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all visitors. 

As required by the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act, mandated reporters are required to report reasonably suspected concerns of child abuse and neglect to the proper authorities. Failure to report can lead to criminal liability.

The School of Medicine

The School of Medicine's Child Abuse website assists affiliated healthcare personnel of Stanford University Medical Center and the surrounding community with questions about recognition and management of suspected child abuse.

Reporting to Stanford

Immediately report instances or suspected instances of abuse or inappropriate interactions with minors to the Program Sponsor and University Human Resources (UHR) / Employee & Labor Relations at (650) 721-4272 or protectminors@stanford.edu.
